Upload guide: what photo works best

Start with a close, first-person-style selfie with your face large in the frame, looking up into the camera.

• Mouth: Keep your mouth uncovered, with your lips clearly visible and nothing — no hand, mask, or phone — in front of your mouth.
• Eyes and gaze: Look up into the camera with your eyes open, no sunglasses and no hair across your eyes.
• Framing: Take the photo from slightly above, close in, with your face filling the upper frame — the way this template frames its first-person view.
• Just you: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Light and quality: Use a recent, high-resolution photo with bright, even light on your face and sharp focus. Do not upload a screenshot with black bars or app buttons, a photo of a screen, or a heavily filtered photo that changes your face shape.
• Do not use: distant full-body shots, back views, faces small in the frame, mouths covered by a hand or mask, dark or blurry photos.
